Imagine pointing to something in the distance and saying 'that'. The kanji '那' represents the idea of pointing to a specific object or person in reference to its location or identity.
The kanji '那' is not a commonly tested character in JLPT exams, particularly at lower levels. However, it is still worth understanding its reading and meaning for a well-rounded knowledge of kanji.
私は那人を忘れません。
I will not forget that person.

Watashi wa na hito o wasuremasen.
