Key Formation

• Verb (ます-form) + どころではない

  飲み会の準備で忙しくて、食事どころではなかった。 (I was too busy preparing for the drinking party to have a meal.)

• Noun + どころではない

  試験勉強のため、友達と遊ぶどころではない。 (I don't have time to hang out with friends because I'm studying for exams.)
